A little change for Feel Good Wednesday #10

As I was doing what I often do first thing when I get to work, I checked my fellow bloggers for updates. My inspirational-stranger-friend-blogger Kelly posted something that I needed today. I am amazed at how well God leads me to the right song for these Feel Good Wednesday's. This particular song is not from a christian artist. But I feel very strongly that God placed this on Kelly's blog for my eyes to see and my ears to hear. So I'm sorry in saying, this is a selfish day for me. This song I put on here just for me. But if there is someone who stumbles across this blog who is facing the same challenge in life, I hope and pray it helps you as well.

This is national infertility week. Please pray for me and all the other women in this world who ache for a child of their own.

Memories of a 28 year old

Oh the day I have both been looking forward to, yet dreading. A year older. This day, 28 years ago, I was born. A coal black headed little baby girl. As I was trying to think about the post I would write in honor of this joyous day, my mind drifted back to many different memories. There was my post! I grow emotional just thinking of all the events that have transpired through these 28 years of my life. It's hard for me to not write a book about each one of them. How I have grown! Thank the Lord! I may fall and face trials and tragedies; but I pick myself up and allow God to dust me off one more time.

Memories of a 28 year old
(in no particular order)

  1. I have no idea what my age was, but I remember I was very little. I want to say it was a Sunday night at church. Back home in Sherman, TX at the First Assembly of God. I gave my heart to God. Many people write this specific date down in their Bibles or even transplant it in their memories. Sometimes I feel guilty because I don't know when. But you know, it doesn't really matter as long as we KNOW we are saved. I remember a lot of people gathered down at the alters. I was sitting with my mom watching as I noticed a lot of the children were gathering together down front. My mom asked if I would like to go and there I went. Thank you God for your saving grace!

  2. Grandpa Luther Lowry. Some days I can still feel his arms around me. I can feel his rough, calloused, hard worked hands holding mine and his chin whiskers rubbing against my soft cheeks. It's like he would not shave on purpose. He would often gather me up and do that to me and I would just laugh. It was his way of showing me how much he loved me. It's funny how we show our love sometimes. He was my favorite Grandpa. I'll admit it. I had a favorite. He was a wonderful carpenter and oh what I would give to have had him build me a house or a set of cabinets. I hope to see him some day in Heaven.

  3. Little Collinsville, TX. I think ever since I was a baby Dad would load me up along with the rest of the family and we would head to our "ranch". I have to laugh at that because anybody who knows what this "ranch" looks like knows it is anything BUT a ranch. It was a place that my great-great aunts lived and had many animals - too many animals. But Dad would have cows he was raising there and so we would go tend to the cows. My first memory of a cow was when I was little enough to be standing up in the seat of Dad's truck. The windows were rolled up and Dad left me in there to watch him feed. I was standing up watching and a cow came right up to the window. I just knew he was going to come through that window and get me. Haha That's when I knew I was not meant to be a "ranch" girl. My favorite part of Collinsville was the little mini-mart where my brother and I would beg Dad to stop. We just had to have a coke icee. This wasn't just a regular coke icee. Still to this day I have not had one like it. Oh, I can still recall the cold coke icee going down my throat into my tummy and giving me a temporary brain freeze. I'm sad to say, the coke icee's are not at the little mini-mart anymore.

  4. My childhood best friend, Kristi Miller (Shilling now). If people didn't know any better, they could have called us sisters. Each with dark hair. We grew up in church together. Often we would spend countless days with each other. Sometimes it would be days in a row. We just were inseparable. I can not see the movie Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken without thinking of Kristi. I promise you, one Summer we probably watched this movie a dozen times. We'd talk on the phone for hours. Not only talk but sing with each other also. I remember one time calling her and we'd sing His Eye Is On the Sparrow from the soundtrack of Sister Act 2. We'd sing it like we had some "soul" in us too. I am so thankful we are still great friends today.

  5. My greatest best friend today, Summer. What would I do without this girl?! Oh my. We may live hours apart but we each try to talk to each other just about every day. If it wasn't for instant messenger, we'd be lost. Isn't that right, Summer? We vent, we cry, we give each other advice, we laugh until we fall out of our seats.....all on AOL instant messenger. I spent numerous nights at her apartment on what Summer calls "the marshmallow". Summer would you please take a picture of that thing and send it to me before your mom gets rid of it? The smallest lounger and I would sleep on it during college after Summer had spent the previous hour doing my Statistics homework.

  6. One of the best accomplishments I have made in my life was graduating college. I remember standing in line at the coliseum and flash backs of the last five years were sorting through my mind. I had done it! I had actually survived five years of college and I was about to walk across that stage and get my diploma. Being the emotional person I am, I began to cry. People probably thought I was nuts as we stood there waiting to enter in. I should have been crying about all the student loans I was about to be responsible for. LOL I had never been more proud of myself. It was a great day and I am so blessed that I was fortunate enough to experience college life.

  7. Braces. What can I say? They are usually every teenagers worst nightmare. Well, those that have to wear them. But mine came later in life. I can always remember being extremely self-conscious about my teeth. They were horrible. I couldn't wait to get them. Finally my freshman year in college my mom was able to afford them for me. I was so thankful. Braces were the best gift my mom could have ever given me. Seriously! I wore those suckers for 4 1/2 years too. Geez! The day I went in to get them taken off was a wonderful day. I smiled from ear to ear. When the orthodontist assitants were taking pictures of me I started to cry. I know. I'm such a cry baby. But to have so many years behind me of something to feel so down about, it just made me want to cry. I remember driving back to work and I had to call mom and thank her for the wonderful gift she had given me. I told her I couldn't thank her enough. I was speaking through my tears of course. :)

  8. I have to of course mention Wes. We met either May 1st or May 2nd, 2002 went on our first date May 3rd and we have been together ever since. I remember walking down from my apartment, with Summer, and noticing this guy sitting with another guy from our apartment complex. This guy (Wes) I had never seen before but instantly thought "hmm, he's cuuuute!" I was drawn to his smile and his gorgeous blue eyes. We talked for hours seemed like. I knew instantly that this guy was heaven sent. He is my best friend. We have grown a lot together. We've gone through trials together. We've experienced a strength in our love in the past few months that can be so overwhelming at times. I love the man God chose for my life. Wes was in the plans. Thank you God.

  9. I have to say I had never dreamed I would be a stepmom. It just goes to show we do not plan our life, God does. I will admit when we got that letter in the mail December 2002 I was heart-broken. We had just been married a short time and we were finally finding out the results of the paternity test. Through the feelings of "what do we do now", one thing was so clear to me. We were going to make it! We had God on our side. We all make mistakes but this little child didn't ask for this to happen. He was brought into this world for a reason. I am so thankful that I have a good relationship with Logan's mom. We all get a long and that is what is most important for Logan. I remember the first time I saw Logan. We were getting him for the first visit, our first weekend. Talk about emotions. They were overwhelming. I was nervous. I was scared. I was angry. I was happy. I was excited. We walked in the apartment Logan and his mom were living in. I knew without a doubt that he was Wes's son. He looked so much like Wes's baby pictures. Logan was 5 months old. This little baby boy sleeping in his car seat ready to go. He would soon greet his grandparents, uncle and great grandparents for the first time that night. I would hold my stepson for the first time. I loved him from the second my eyes laid on him. A kind of love only God could have allowed me to give. What would he think of me? Would he love me? Would he grow up accepting me? No one could ever measure the love I have for my stepson. And I have the pleasure of being called Mom.

Thanks for taking the time to read my memories. I can't wait to see what else God has in store for the rest of my life.

28 Pictures of Me

In order to celebrate my birthday tomorrow, I am going to share some pictures with you. Some you will get a good laugh at. Some I am surprised I'm even sharing. I hope you enjoy and get a good laugh. Haha There are a few pictures I wish I had on my computer to share. But maybe next year.

Horny Toad

Ok, get your minds out of the gutter. Haha It is exactly as the title says. Have you ever seen one of these?According to Wikipedia.com, a horny toad or "horned" toad is a lizard that is neither a frog nor a toad. The popular names come from the lizard's rounded body and blunt snout, which make it resemble a toad or frog. The spines on its back and sides are made from modified scales, whereas the horns on the heads are true horns

Did you know that the horned lizard/horny toad/horned toad is the state reptile of Texas? I had no clue.
I had lunch with Wes and Clay (brother-in-law) today and this is what they were wanting to show me. LOL And yes, I braved it and touched the little lizard. Normally, I get the he-b-g-b's about something like this. I had never seen one of these in my life. Something new. Have I lead a sheltered life? LOL
Happy Friday everyone!

Feel Good Wednesday #9

I literally need a Feel Good Wednesday. I have been sick for the last few days with bronchitis....but all is better now.

Today I am sharing a song with you from an artist/group I have already featured on here once before. But I really feel that it is "the" song I need to add on here today. Do you ever feel like you are constantly being tested and put through some major battles? Do you ever feel like you get through one obstacle and another one is put right in front of you? Believe me, you are NOT alone. I know that a lot of times the enemy likes to use these times to try to defeat us...to bring us down to our lowest point. I am amazed that I have not let the enemy win in my battle. I could be wallowing in my self pity of losing my baby. I could be in the deepest pit and could be angry at the world. But God gave me peace and He knew I could live victoriously through Him. I have had my share of bad days, but I am still pressing on. It is known that even when we are growing closer to God, the devil will try even harder to beat us down. But with God, we will stand and win!

The Word says in James 1:12 "Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him."

Bring the Rain by MercyMe

I can count a million times
People asking me how I
Can praise You with all that I’ve gone through
The question just amazes me
Can circumstances possibly
Change who I forever am in You

Maybe since my life was changed
Long before these rainy days
It’s never really ever crossed my mind
To turn my back on you oh Lord
My only shelter from the storms
But instead I draw closer through these times

So I pray
Bring me joy, bring me peace
Bring the chance to be free
Bring me anything that brings You glory
And I know
There’ll be days
When this life brings me pain
But if that’s what it takes to praise You
Jesus Bring the Rain

I am Yours regardless of
The clouds that may loom above
Because You are much greater than my pain
You who made a way for me
By suffering Your destiny
So tell me what’s a little rain

Chorus

Holy, Holy, Holy
Holy, Holy, Holy
Is the Lord God Almighty
Is the Lord God Almighty
(repeat)

A spotlight on a friend...and the power of prayer

I wanted to share with all of you a story my dear friend Kristi had shared with me today. I thought it was SO powerful that I asked if it were ok to post it on my blog today. I want you all to read this awesome story that she titled "Power of Prayer" and it is just that. Enjoy!

Power of Prayer....true story by Kristi (Miller) Shilling...

A while back we were having a HARD time with Seth being terrified of his room. He would not go in there to play, sleep at night and just screamed and cried if we took him in there. He was constantly telling us he was scared of the monsters and bad people that were trying to get him. (Now keep in mind he is 2)

It was getting bad enough that John and I were getting worried, and I have to be honest it started creeping me out to go in there. Always looking over my shoulder like someone was watching me. Well enough was enough. We started going in there with Seth to pray, and we would have him repeat a small prayer, that Jesus would keep him safe. That Jesus would make the monsters and bad people go away and leave us alone. That the "angels that encampeth round about us" would not let them come into Seth's room to scare him anymore. Than we started thanking Jesus that they were gone and were NOT coming back.

It was a couple weeks but nights got better and he started playing in his room again. I started noticing that he was talking to someone while he played. At first I thought it was just imaginary play till I heard him say who he was playing with. I asked him later on that day who he was talking to and playing with in his room and he told me "Jesus". I asked what they did and he told me that played trucks and cars. Um,ok?! Then one day he was in his room playing with Jesus when he came out very sad. I asked him what was wrong and he said he was sad because Jesus had to go back home. He had to help other people. "How did Jesus go back home Seth?" "He flew back up into the sky mommy"

Now some people will call me crazy but I believe with my whole heart and nothing will ever change that my child was honestly playing with Jesus in his room. We prayed that Jesus would be with him to keep him safe and not scared. If that meant playing trucks and cars to let him know he was there, well then I believe Jesus was willing to do that. The Bible says for us to have faith as a young child. Seth believed it because we asked it...enough said! I wish I had never lost that faith.

Spiritual Gifts

Today, when I should have been working, I took a test that helped me find out what my spiritual gifts are. My top 3 were Music, Faith, and Encouragement. I think this fits me really well.

Music: The gift that gives a believer the capability to present personal witness and inspiration to others through instrumental music, singing, or dancing. The special gift whereby the Spirit enables certain Christians to praise God through music in such a way as to enhance the worship experience of other believers. It gives the believer the desire and capability to express personal faith and provide inspiration and comfort through the playing of a musical instrument, singing, or dancing. The spiritual aspect of the gift is revealed as the gift bearer gives witness to love and praise for the Lord, and thus glorifies God. Those listening or watching become inspired to feel the presence and majesty of God when music, song, or dance uplifts their soul in a manner that brings them closer to their Lord. People with this gift: - sing or play a musical instrument quite well, and enjoy it - have special joy singing praises to God, either alone or with other people - feel secure in the fact that their musical ability will be of benefit to other people with whom they come in contact - can use their musical ability to help and inspire others to worship God - see that their singing or instrument playing is a spiritual encouragement for others. 1 Samuel 16:14-23 1 Corinthians 14:26 Psalm 33:1-3 Psalm 96:1-2 Psalm 100:1-2 Psalm 149:3 Psalm 150:1-6 Colossians 3:16 2 Chronicles 5:12-13 2 Samuel 6:14-15

Faith: The special conviction God gives to some to be firmly persuaded of God's power and promises to accomplish His will and purpose and to display such a confidence in Him and His Word that circumstances and obstacles do not shake that conviction. The divine enablement to act on God's promises with confidence and unwavering belief in God's ability to fulfill his purposes. People with this gift: - believe the promises of God and inspire others to do the same - act in complete confidence of God's ability to overcome obstacles - demonstrate an attitude of trust in God's will and his promises - advance the cause of Christ because they go forward when others will not - ask God for what is needed and trust him for his provision. 1 Corinthians 12:7-11 Mark 5:25-34 Acts 27:21-25 Hebrews 11 Romans 4:18-21

Encouragement: Encouragement (Speaking Gift) - The special ability God gives some to offer comfort, words of encouragement, hope, and reassurance to discouraged, weak, or troubled Christians in such a way that they are consoled. People with this gift: - come to the side of those who are discouraged to reassure them and give them hope - emphasize God's promises and confidence in his will. (See also Exhortation ) Romans 12:6-8 Titus 1:9 Acts 11:23-24 Acts 14:21-22 1 Thessalonians 2:11-12 1 Thessalonians 5:9-11

If you are interested in finding out what your spiritual gifts are click here to take the test and see your results.

Feel Good Wednesday #8

Hosanna...definition: used to express praise or adoration to God, a shout of worshipful praise.

John 4:23-24 "But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."
Hosanna
by Hillsong United

I see the king of glory
Coming on the clouds with fire
The whole earth shakes
The whole earth shakes

I see his love and mercy
Washing over all our sin
The people sing
The people sing

[Chorus]
Hosanna
Hosanna
Hosanna in the highest x2

I see a generation
Rising up to take their place
With selfless faith
With selfless faith
I see a near revival
Stirring as we pray and seek
We're on our knees
We're on our knees

[Chorus]

Heal my heart and make it clean
Open up my eyes to the things unseen
Show me how to love like you have loved me
Break my heart from what breaks yours
Everything I am for your kingdoms cause
As I go from earth to
Eternity

[Chorus] x2

Hosanna in the highest
I love the verse talking about the generation rising up, with selfless faith, praying and seeking. I remember many times watching my parents generation in church....praying, singing, worshipping. I remember my grandpa testifying in church and ending every time with "I'm going to keep on keeping on." I look up to these generations. I want my generation to pray and seek and start a new revival. Where we just can't get enough of God.
Happy Feel Good Wednesday. I hope you all had a wonderful Easter.
This song today was more of a worship song. Do you have a favorite worship song?

Visiting an old friend

I met up with an old friend yesterday after work. We had a good time together. My friend made me sweat and after visiting for only about 2 minutes I already had shortness of breath. We watched an old episode of Golden Girls while we visited. We plan on visiting more often because my friend said it could tell I hadn't visited in a while. Who is my friend you may be asking?....Check my friend out for yourself.

We'll see if my friend will be good to me and help me shed some pounds. I guess it's all up to me tho. Because my friend won't come find me, I have to go visit it myself. Haha!

Logan's prayers

I was almost moved to tears this weekend by the simplest thing. Logan and I were driving home late Saturday night from Wes's grandparents house. Being Easter weekend they had lots of family in from out of town. It was rainy and stormy that night. As we were driving home, Logan noticed the lightning out in the distance and asked if we could get hit. I told him there was a very slim chance and that we would be fine.

As we were getting ready for bed Logan came and found me and here is what he said that made my heart just want to burst.

"Mom, do you know how I know that God does exist?" "While we were driving home I prayed that God would send the lightning where I could see it." "Every time I'd ask to see the lightning, it would happen and it was like it was all around us."

I hadn't noticed all the lightning the way he had. But I grabbed him and hugged him after he told me all that. Isn't it so special how God works in our little children's minds? The simplest prayer by a child is heard by our God's ears! And Logan knew that. It just makes my heart feel so good.

Good Friday, You ARE worthy Lord

As I sit here listening to songs that praise Jesus, I am filled with emotion of what all Jesus means to me. He has done so much for me. Dying on the cross He knew He was paying a price for me, my family, friends, you....EVERYONE. He knew down the road, that I would sin. He knew I'd love Him. He knew I'd want to be forgiven. He was willing to get on the cross, bleed, suffer, thirst, and to get beaten for ME! Would I be willing to do that for just anyone?

I just can't understand why people would know the lamb of God died for them and not want to serve Him. I can't understand how they can live a life of sin and not want to be forgiven. Why live broken and lost when your debt has been paid already, your sin can be forgiven?! He died on the cross for you! He suffered for you! All you have to do is tell him you have sinned, you want to be forgiven. He will forgive you. That's what he died for.

HE IS WORTHY!!!!

Thank you for the cross! Thank you for suffering for me! I love you Lord!

Feel Good Wednesday #7

This week I knew I wanted to feature a song in honor of Easter. The reason we are all here on Earth. Jesus dying on the cross and then rising again. There are not enough words to express how much I love Him. I am choosing to attach a devotional I read that made me think about Jesus rising again and also the plans He has for me....that I can not see yet.

God’s Plan for the Resurrection - John 16:16-20 Written by Dr. Charles Stanley

"A little while, and you will no longer see Me." Jesus repeated these words to His disciples several times. But He could tell by the blank stares on their faces that they did not understand what He had said. At one point, He even overheard them debating what He meant by "You will not see me" (John 16:19). These men had been with the Lord for three years. They had laughed with Him, cried with Him, eaten with Him, and were willing to die with Him, or so they thought. They had just entered the city of Jerusalem. And instead of being met by an angry legion of guards and protestors, they were met by palm-waving supporters shouting: "Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord." Yet as soon as they had settled into the upper room, Jesus broached the subject of His forthcoming death. Immediately, the mood of His followers went from one of celebration to shock and sorrow.

Often in difficult times, we cannot see beyond that moment. The resurrection was a few days away, but they could not fathom its wondrous coming.

God always provides the encouragement we need to stay the course, and Jesus did this for His disciples when He told them, "Your sorrow will be turned to joy" (v. 20). This also is God’s message of hope and love for us today. Blessed be the name of the Lord!
This Easter Sunday I hope you think about what the true meaning of Easter is. It's not about bunny's, eggs, candy, or children all dressed up in their Easter clothing....it IS about Jesus! Jesus died for OUR sins. With pierced hands bleeding for us, hurting for us. What a priceless, self-less gift.
I will not post the words to this song today. I do not want to take away from the words of this blog and the devotion given. But please listen to the words by Laura Story and enjoy the song Mighty to Save.

Spoiled by my husband, Blessed by God

I know it's Feel Good Wednesday, I'm going to do that in just a sec. I wanted to show you what my husband surprised me with yesterday. This is my EARLY birthday present!
My old camera was a good camera but it was getting to where it would take forever to take a picture. Anyone with kids, or men, know how hard it is to get them to stand still long enough to take a picture. But if your camera takes as long to take a picture as it takes for Christmas to get here....well, you need to get a new camera. Ha! Oh and this camera is so small! I love how slender it is. Fits great in my purse. Happy Early Birthday to me!

Seek me and you will find me

I have so many thoughts going through my mind today. Clifton's messages (morning and night) were so awesome yesterday. Oh, here's a shout out to Clifton my pastor! :) I think his wife told him about my blog. :) It seems to be a clear thing lately, God is trying to give me the message to seek Him.

Have I mentioned that one of my most FAVORITE scriptures is Jeremiah 29:11? It says "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you, never to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future." Well last night Clifton reminded me of the important scriptures that follow. Jeremiah 29:12-13 says "Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me will all your heart." Doesn't that go right along with the scripture I mentioned several days ago....Matthew 7:7-8 "Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you...." See, God is really trying to tell me something.

Clifton mentioned something last night that really got my attention. He said that we are to seek out His kingdom and His righteousness before we seek out anything else. Meaning we are to seek Him, want to really know Him, have a relationship with Him before we even think about wanting anything from Him. Another thing Clifton said a couple of Sunday's ago was "If we draw near to Him, He will draw near to us." I am not perfect, still working on my drawing near to God, but the proof is here. I have been drawing nearer to God and He HAS been revealing more and more of His love to me. He has been answering several prayers in my Prayer Journal and showing me more and more scripture. And just like those verses, Jeremiah 29:12 -13, I had read them before, knew they were there, but put them aside and only concentrated on verse 11. But now it's like a light bulb went off. How can I be so selfish and ask God to answer my prayers and do this and that for me, if I'm not trying to get to know Him better above all? I mean, I know I wanted to have a better relationship with God but I guess I just didn't really think deep about what I'm supposed to be doing first. If I seek Him, He will take care of my desires/needs. That simple. Concentrate on Him, He'll do the rest.

Something I've also been doing, besides the Prayer Journal, is I started memorizing 2 verses a month. I started last month and I'm on my 3rd verse so far. I got this idea from Beth Moore. She has really inspired me! I need to remember what I'm memorizing these verses for, though. I will be honest, about once a week, for the last few weeks I have become very sad thinking about my loss and the impatience I'm trying to fight for wanting to get pregnant again. Just yesterday the thought hit me. I'm not supposed to be memorizing these verses to just be memorizing them. I'm supposed to be using them in those very moments of sadness, depression, and impatience. When those times come, I can start speaking the Word of God. It will help me fight off those feelings. Just like it says in Psalms 119:105 "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." or Psalms 119:50 "This is my comfort in my affliction, for your word has given me life."

Faith Baby

Over at Kelly's Korner, my inspiring-stranger-blog-friend, were these featured onesies. Aren't they cute??!! You can go right here to visit the website and see the mommy who created them. I love the name of the site too. I am GOING to buy this one WHEN I have my future baby. It is just perfect for me. I just had to share. In fact, I may just go buy one right now!

I also love that this site has lots of scriptures all over it. On the very top of the website is the verse my pastor, Clifton, has been preaching on the last 2 Sundays..."We live/walk by faith, not by sight." 2 Corinthians 5:7 And the other verse I love is “If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it." John 14:14

Feel Good Wednesday #6

Now, I don't want these Feel Good Wednesday's to be depressing. And I don't want them to get old. So if you get tired of these, please let me know.

I had no idea what song to put on here today. I searched my Ipod on my way home yesterday, nothing. So this morning while I was driving to work, I prayed. I prayed for whoever is out there, reading this, would get something from this one song today. God knows the hearts and minds of all of my visitors to this blog. He knows what everyone is going through. I do not. So I believe God lead me to this song today. The words are awesome but the group is honestly not one of my "favorites". Even towards the end of this song, it gets kind of, well, I just don't "feel" it towards the end. BUT God gave me this song, for someone, today...so here it is....

Hold On
by 33 Miles

I've been there a thousand times
Felt the rain like a thousand knives and it hurts
I know it hurts
I've been there like a fighter plane
Trying to fly my way through a hurricane and it's hard
I know it's hard
Don't be afraid
You'll make it through
Just call out to me
And I'll come running to you

And hold on, hold on
When the current pulls you under
And your heart beats like thunder
Just give me your hand
And hold on, hold on
Until the storm is over
And I'll be fighting for you
Just give me your hand
And hold on
I'll give you hope, I'll give you faith
And when it's dark, I'll light the way
For you, for you
I'm by your side until the end
Until you're standing tall again
I'm here, I'll always be here
And if the tide sweeps you out to sea
When your strength is gone
And it's hard to believe

Hold on, hold on
When the current pulls you under
And your heart beats like thunder
Just give me your hand
And hold on, hold on
Until the storm is over
And I'll be fighting for you
Just give me your hand
Hold on

Oooohhh
So hold on, hold on
When the current pulls you under
And your heart beats like thunder
Just give me your hand
And hold on, hold on
Until the storm is over
And I'll be fighting for you
Just give me your hand
And hold on
Hold on, oooooooh

I hope this helped someone today. We all go through storms in our life, at some point. But God is always there, holding our hand....
Isaiah 41:13 "For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, 'Fear not, I will help you.'"
